Business Systems Analyst

Location: Libertyville, IL or Nashville, TN

Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite)

We are seeking a highly collaborative Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance Human Resources technology solutions. This role serves as the bridge between HR and IT, partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyze business needs, improve processes, and deliver scalable HR system solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience with SAP Success Factors
, Service Now HR Service Delivery (HRSD), HR system implementations, integrations, and Agile methodologies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, driving system improvements, and collaborating across multiple departments.

• Partner with HR stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business leaders to define project scope and priorities.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.

• Support and enhance HR technology platforms, including SAP Success Factors and Service Now HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
• Configure and maintain HR workflows, security roles, and system settings.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
• Ensure HR data integrity across multiple integrated systems.

• Participate in HRIS implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers during system design, testing, and deployment.
• Create functional specifications, test scripts, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist with data migration and validation activities.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Help prioritize enhancement requests and manage project deliverables.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR technology and user experience.

• Serve as the liaison between HR, IT, vendors, and business leadership.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships while supporting organizational HR technology initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• 2+ years of experience supporting HR technology platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Success Factors (Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, Performance, or related modules).
• Experience supporting or administering Service Now HR Service Delivery (HRSD) preferred.
• Experience with HRIS implementations, system integrations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Strong experience gathering business requirements and writing functional specifications.
• Experience creating and executing test scripts and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
