Clinical Data Manager/Clinical Data Management Specialist

Our client is an established medical device developer who is actively expanding its Clinical Data Management team due to continued growth. The ideal candidate has strong, practical experience working within an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system and understands how to proactively identify, manage, and resolve data discrepancies and queries. This role is highly focused on the quality and consistency of clinical data rather than reporting or data analytics.

• Serve as a hands-on Clinical Data Management resource throughout the clinical study lifecycle.
• Work extensively within the EDC system
  , including study setup, configuration, data review, and ongoing maintenance.
• Configure and maintain electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and support study builds within an EDC platform.
• Monitor clinical study data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality
  .
• Proactively identify data discrepancies and determine when queries need to be raised.
• Manage and resolve clinical data queries in a timely manner, following established data management procedures.
• Conduct ongoing data review and cleaning to ensure high-quality, reliable study data.
• Identify inconsistencies across study data and work with appropriate stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Support data reconciliation and data review activities throughout the study.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Clinical Research, Data Management, and other study team members.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure data management activities are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures and study requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical data management processes and EDC workflows.

• 3+ years of clinical data management experience
  , ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or clinical research industry.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in life sciences or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience working within an EDC system is required.
• Experience with building, programming, or configuring clinical studies within an EDC platform strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with data review, cleaning, query management, and data reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
• Ability to intuitively identify when data requires a query and proactively drive issues toward resolution.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or discrepancies within clinical study data.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

• Be hands-on: Spend significant time working directly in the EDC rather than primarily producing reports or analytics.
• Own data quality: Identify inconsistencies, investigate discrepancies, and ensure study data remains accurate and reliable.
• Drive query resolution: Know when to raise a query, how to effectively communicate the issue, and how to follow through to timely resolution.
• Build and configure studies: Gain exposure to and contribute to the programming and build of clinical studies within an EDC platform.
• Make an impact: Support clinical research programs within an established organization while joining a team that is growing.
