Hardware Engineer
Position Summary
As a Configuration Technician you will follow platform documentation, AHEAD Methods, and Production defaults to properly apply customer‑specific, order‑specific, and hardware‑specific software.
Responsibilities- Install and configure various operating systems across a wide range of hardware.
- Create and configure RAID arrays.
- Flash custom BIOS and firmware into hardware.
- Install software images through the internal PXE environment.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware issues.
- Communicate production problems with Production, Engineering, and Sales departments.
- Assemble computer hardware from build documentation.
- Identify and quarantine defective hardware.
- Perform visual inspection on systems and accessory boxes.
- Conduct diagnostic testing using third‑party software such as PCDr or Mem Test and manufacturer software such as Seatools.
- Identify and log discrepancies between the build and the work instruction.
- May be required to work extended hours during peak times.
- Serve as an assembly technician or fulfill other roles as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years experience in assembly or manufacturing.
- Experience with computer hardware and operating systems.
- Linux experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products desired.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions and guidelines.
- Team‑oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible to work additional hours and weekends when required.
- Compliance with ADA and related federal, state and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.
- Attendance must be regular and punctual.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:
The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
