Lead the Global Indirect Procurement function through the development and execution of category strategies, supplier governance, sourcing initiatives, and procurement transformation activities. Manage a team of procurement professionals responsible for indirect spend categories including Travel, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Facilities, Professional Services, and Corporate Services. Partner with business leaders to deliver cost savings, supplier innovation, risk mitigation, compliance, and operational excellence while ensuring effective stewardship of company resources and alignment with enterprise objectives.
This position is based in Libertyville, IL with an onsite requirement of 4 days in office weekly.
Responsibilities include leadership & talent development, strategic category management, strategic sourcing & contract management, supplier relationship management, stakeholder engagement, procurement governance & compliance, risk management & business continuity, value delivery & continuous improvement. Essential functions of the role involve effective communication, collaboration, special project support, vision-setting, and managing multiple priorities.
Education & work requirements include a Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of related experience. Preferred experience includes 10+ years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or operations, 5+ years of sourcing and supplier management experience, 3+ years managing third-party or contract manufacturing relationships, 5+ years leading and developing procurement or supply chain teams, experience supporting S&OP / S&OE and cross-functional supply planning processes.
Healthcare, medical device, or regulated manufacturing experience is preferred.
