Position: Machine Attendant Night Shift 12 hours

Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance by inspecting the products and escalating any quality issues.
  • Conduct 2‑hour visual checks as required.
  • Continuously monitor Injection Machines’ production and packaging.
  • Ensure Injection Machine production is continuously and properly maintained, and escalates any machine/production related issues to the Shift Leader and Technical Team.
  • Ensure boxes are properly filled.
  • Tape and label full boxes.
  • Use label maker/barcode scanners.
  • Apply and maintain integrity of labels.
  • Stack full boxes on pallet.
  • Continuously monitor secondary equipment (conveyors, closing machines, grinders, bowls, carrousels, box shifters).
  • Ensure secondary equipment is continuously and properly maintained, and escalates any machine/production related issues to the Shift Leader and Technical Team.
  • Remove any jammed parts from closing machines.
  • Complete required documentation.
  • Follow 5S Daily Cleaning Checklist and escalates safety issues.
  • Track productivity and quality findings.
  • Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
  • Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjust effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
  • Accomplish tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; show concern for all aspects of the job; accurately check processes and tasks; be watchful over a period of time.
  • Be aware of conditions that affect employee safety.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing or injection molding, preferred.
  • Regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Standing/walking for long periods of time.

Libertyville, IL Plant PERKS
  • Starting Pay $16.50 hour plus $2.00 night time differential. Base Compensation Range: $16.50–$18.50 hour
  • 6:00 pm–6:15 am Rotating Days Work Schedule
  • Semi Annual Profit Sharing Bonus
