Sanitation Specialist (Biotech)

Join our sanitation team and play a vital role in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment within our facility! The sanitation department is responsible for all janitorial duties, both inside and outside, ensuring we meet the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Imagine starting your day ensuring our production areas are spotless before operations begin. You'll work with your team to break down and sanitize clean rooms, meticulously following SOPs to prevent contamination. Throughout the day, you'll monitor chemical usage, manage sanitation supplies, and address any food safety concerns, all while contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

• Sanitize office, production, and restroom areas thoroughly.
• Execute the breakdown, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling clean rooms.
• Adhere to proper cleaning SOPs, chemical use guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate on major cleanup projects as directed by production supervisors and managers.
• Maintain chemical usage and cleaning logs accurately.
• Manage inventory and storage of all sanitation supplies efficiently.
• Perform detailed cleaning tasks according to the production schedule and master sanitation schedules.
• Report all food safety and quality issues immediately to the QA Manager and plant manager.
• Partner with others, sharing knowledge, skills, and information within your team and across functional areas.
• Operate safely at heights over 10 ft, using ladders or scissor lifts as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in sanitation or a related field
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Weekly. All candidates must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

• Day Shift 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Night Shift 3:00 PM – 11:45 PM (+$1.50/hour shift premium)
