Why this role?

On our 2nd shift at Weller Metalworks, you’ll own the press brake—from setup through inspection—delivering zero-defect components in a fast-paced production setting. If you thrive on precision, this is your arena.

What will you tackle?

Set up and operate press brake machinery, choosing the right tooling and dies for each run.

Read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings to meet exact specifications.

Form and measure metal parts to customer requirements with tight tolerances.

Use tape measures, calipers, and gauges accurately.

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to keep quality locked in.

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies without compromise.

Communicate defects or equipment concerns to supervisors quickly and clearly.

Do you meet these essentials?

Hands-on press brake experience in manufacturing (required).Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Comfort with fractions/decimals and precise measurement.

Mechanical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

High School Diploma or GED.Physical requirements

Standing for the full shift.

Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and walking.

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Preferred (not required)
GD&T experience.

Forklift skills.

Experience in metal fabrication environments.
