ABOUT COMMUNITY PARTNERS FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Community Partners for Affordable Housing (CPAH) is a leading nonprofit organization committed to providing housing and services that empower residents to secure and retain high-quality, affordable housing.
Today, CPAH offers a continuum of housing services that clients throughout the northern suburbs can access with one phone call including rental assistance, rental housing, property management, HUD-certified housing counseling, down payment assistance, home repairs, accessibility improvements, foreclosure prevention, financial counseling, affordable community land trust homes for sale, inclusionary housing administration, housing rehabilitation, project management and new construction.
LOOKING AHEADCPAH has an exciting and ambitious year ahead, and the Senior Director of Philanthropy will play a critical role in advancing and amplifying this work. CPAH is currently completing construction of a 34-unit senior housing development in Libertyville, building a townhome community in Highland Park, getting ready to start construction of a 40-unit senior cottage project in Beach Park, planning its first Permanent Supportive Housing development, and will be launching a new regional affordable housing Hub to further expand its impact in the community.
THEOPPORTUNITY
Community Partners for Affordable Housing (CPAH) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Director of Philanthropy who wants to join its efforts to help ensure that everyone has a place to call home. The Senior Director of Philanthropy will create and execute a philanthropic vision to help advance CPAH’s mission and grow its resources, with a particular focus on corporate and foundation giving.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful grant writing and building relationships with corporate and foundation partners.
Reporting to the President, the Senior Director of Philanthropy will be deeply committed to creating a collaborative culture of philanthropy s leader will also develop processes and policies that consistently monitor progress and donor engagement. In addition to working closely with the President, the Senior Director of Philanthropy will frequently partner and strategize with the Vice President of Community Relations and a highly engaged Board.
COMPENSATION,WORK ENVIRONMENT & BENEFITS
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $115,000 with a generous benefits package. This is a full-time position. Standard office hours are 8:30am-4:30pm. CPAH staff frequently work in the office 3 days per week and remotely 2 days per week. Flexibility is available regarding hours and hybrid schedule.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life, healthcare reimbursement arrangement (HRA), and matched 401K contributions up to 5% of salary. Paid time off, plus 3 floating holidays of the employee’s choice as well as 11 federal holidays. Sick time is also earned at 9 days per year.
