Libertyville School District 70 is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our facilities. The position is under the Director of Facilities and Operations, and is a full time, 12-month, 260-day position. The schedule is Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m. and the work is in-person. The benefit package includes 12 sick and 2 personal days, 10 vacation days, medical, dental and life insurance, and a 457 account contribution. Vision insurance and Flex plan are available options. Salary of $37,000 - $47,000 will be commensurate with experience and skills.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• General knowledge of all trades, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability read blueprints and follow written/oral instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and the community.
