Job Description
Retrieve and supply raw materials for the production floor (Resin, pallets, totes, etc.), ensuring timely delivery to appropriate locations. Scan and transport raw materials to the production floor and to the warehouse. If scanning is not operational, complete manual IT forms. Move excess raw material to the warehouse, weigh it and scan it into inventory. Follow designated inventory location rules for proper rotation using FIFO.
Responsible for scanning raw material for production use and returning to inventory locations. Responsible for scanning finished goods into inventory, wrapping when required and proper storage & stacking.
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies daily.
- Participate in annual full cycle count.
- Perform put‑away activities daily.
- Maintain proper documentation for all materials.
- Participate in line clearance process.
- Ensure product integrity is maintained at a high level.
- Move clean scrap cap/gaylords to the regrind area.
- Accurately weigh & record all scrap at designated collection points.
- Take scrap boxes to compactor and compact them.
- Empty garbage containers when full.
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and free of safety issues daily.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Keep all pathways clear.
- Perform daily pre‑use check on powered industrial equipment.
- Report unsafe condition or near miss in the warehouse.
- Report loss, damage and any discrepancies to supervising authorities.
- Operate a manual pallet jack.
- Pick and stage items for shipping to ensure they are addressed and shipped to appropriate locations.
- Confirm orders prior to shipping in accordance with picking list.
- Load shipments in accordance with bill of lading and firewall.
- Perform picking process if needed (relabeling, changing packaging or pallets, etc.).
Supports and maintains all company policies, including ISO/BRC standards, health and safety requirements, continuous improvement, and standard work procedures.
Schedule6:00 pm – 6:15 am, 12‑hour shift, 36‑48 shift schedule (rotating).
PayStarting rate between $20.00 and $22.50 per hour, based on experience. Additional $2.00 hourly shift differential for night shift.
