Job Description
Retrieve and supply raw materials for the production floor (resin, pallets, totes, etc.), ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the appropriate location.
- Scan and transport raw materials to the production floor and to the warehouse.
- If scanning is not operational, complete manual IT forms.
- Move excess raw material to the warehouse; weigh and scan it into inventory.
- Follow designated inventory location rules for proper rotation using F.I.F.O.
- Scan raw material for production use and return it to inventory locations.
- Scan finished goods into inventory, wrap when required, and ensure proper storage and stacking.
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies on a daily basis.
- Participate in annual full cycle count.
- Perform put‑away and consolidation activities on a daily basis.
- Maintain proper documentation for all materials.
- Participate in line clearance process.
- Ensure product integrity is maintained at a high level.
- Move clean scrap cap gaylords to the regrind area.
- Accurately weigh and record all scrap at designated collection points.
- Take scrap boxes to the compactor and compact them.
- Empty garbage containers when full.
- Keep the warehouse clean and clear of safety issues on a daily basis.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Ensure all pathways are kept clear.
- Perform daily pre‑use check on powered industrial equipment.
- Report any unsafe condition or near miss in the warehouse.
- Report loss, damage and any discrepancies to the supervising authorities.
- Operate a manual pallet jack.
- Pick and stage items for shipping to ensure all items are addressed and shipped to the appropriate locations.
- Finalize orders prior to shipping in accordance with picking lists.
- Load shipments in accordance with bill of lading and firewall.
- Perform picking process when needed (relabeling, changing packaging or pallets, etc.).
Supports and maintains all policies of the company, including ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
Schedule:
6:00 am – 6:15 pm, 12‑hour shift, 36/48 schedule (rotating).
Pay:
Starting rate of pay is expected to be $20.00; starting pay offered may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, ranging from $20 to $22.50.
