Required for March or April start, this is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and dynamic Science Department. This position is open to experienced applicants with at least an A-Level Science qualification. We are looking for a positive, proactive and confident individual who works well in teams and has good communication skills.

You will be working in a busy, thriving and highly supportive Department and joining us at a time when more students are studying Triple Science and A-Level than ever before. Duties will include a wide range of activities such as preparing and setting up of practical lessons and trying out of experiments; routine administration; maintenance and cleaning of equipment in laboratories and our two preparation rooms, as well as safety procedures and testing, working in line with Health and Safety and CLEAPSS guidelines.

To have a basic knowledge of Health and Safety matters would be ideal. It would also be desirable if the postholder held a full First-Aid certificate or had prior experience in a similar role or a commitment to immediate training.
