Overview
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a collaborative, customer-focused, goals‑oriented Relief Teller to join our Kauai team. This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel to any of our various Kauai island branches based on our changing business needs. We reimburse mileage at the IRS standard mileage rate of $0.725 per mile.
CompensationThe pay range is $21.00 – $24.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus sales incentives. An additional $3.00 per hour Relief Premium is offered to recognize the flexibility and commitment required to support multiple branches.
Work ScheduleMonday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.;
Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (hours may vary).
- Deliver an exceptional in-branch customer service experience by proactively engaging with customers to identify needs.
- Demonstrate our digital banking options.
- Fulfill customers’ day‑to‑day transactional needs.
- Advise customers on the full range of financial products and services available to suit their financial needs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers.
- Previous sales experience highly desirable.
- One year of cash handling and customer service experience highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel to various Hawaii island branches.
