Loan Officer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic financial services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of credit analysis and loan processing, as well as proficiency in loan origination software.

• Evaluate and analyze clients' financial information to determine eligibility for loan products.
• Guide clients through the loan origination process, explaining terms and conditions clearly.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and all relevant lending laws.
• Utilize lending and banking software to manage accounts and documentation.
• Conduct credit analysis to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.
• Collaborate with third parties and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan processing.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
• Provide ongoing support throughout the life of the loans, addressing any concerns or questions.

• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing (preferred).
• Proven experience in loan origination or a related financial services role (preferred).
• Strong understanding of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in lending software applications.
• Excellent analytical skills with a solid foundation in credit analysis and basic math.
• Familiarity with loan processing procedures is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
