As a Houseperson you'll be a part of a team that shapes the guest experience at Hale Hōkūala Kaua ʻ i, a new oceanfront destination overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Ha ʻ upu Mountain. Located near Kalapaki Beach, Nawiliwili Harbor, and The Ocean Course at H ō k ū ala, this 210-room resort offers a unique opportunity to help launch a hotel that celebrates the spirit, culture, and natural beauty of Kaua ʻ i.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum one year of hotel housekeeping or janitorial experience
• Schedule flexibility

Classification:
Full-Time

Shift Pattern:
Full flexibility (shell schedule is 7am to 11pm)

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Keep public areas spotless:
  Maintain cleanliness of designated areas—including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces—by performing daily cleaning tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, washing windows, and emptying trash
• Delight our guests:
  Greet guests warmly, deliver requested items, and assist with room cleaning as needed
• Manage supplies:
  Stock and organize supply rooms to support efficient housekeeping operations
• Handle special projects:
  Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors
• Support property maintenance:
  Identify and report any repair needs or maintenance deficiencies to ensure a well-kept property
