Responsibilities
Driver/operator of company vehicles providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
MON‑FRI 0700‑1700
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance as customer contact is required.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Can read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials.
Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving history.
Pay and BenefitsPay: $25.42–$35.25 per hour. Pay range represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at location for this job and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.
