A leading vacation rental management company is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of its local operation on Kauai
. This executive leadership role offers full responsibility for business performance, including financial results, operational excellence, team leadership, owner relations, and guest satisfaction. Reporting to senior regional leadership, the General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the business unit. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations while maintaining accountability for financial performance, operational efficiency, portfolio growth, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is an accomplished hospitality leader with strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership- Own full P&L responsibility for the operation.
- Achieve annual revenue and EBITDA objectives.
- Develop and manage operating budgets and financial forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Direct all daily operations including housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, and property onboarding.
- Ensure consistent execution of company standards and regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous operational improvements and process efficiencies.
- Partner with business development leadership to expand the managed property portfolio.
- Support homeowner acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the local market.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable culture.
- Establish clear performance expectations and coaching initiatives.
- Proven General Manager, Regional Manager, or multi-department hospitality leadership experience.
- Strong financial management and P&L experience.
- Demonstrated success leading operations within hospitality, vacation rentals, hotels, resorts, property management, or related service industries.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience driving business growth while maintaining high service standards.
- Ability to lead through change within a growing organization.
Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 base (commensurate with experience), bonus program (up to $100k annually), health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and much more!
