Registered Nurse - Mother Baby Care Unit

Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not‑for‑profit medical center devoted to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible, quality health care.

The Mother Baby Care Unit provides specialized care for postpartum women and newborns, including post‑GYN surgical patients, and offers education, IV therapy, fetal monitoring, and support for high‑risk perinatal care.

As a Registered Nursery/Postpartum Nurse you will provide direct patient care and support to physician staff within this unit, using strong communication skills in a team‑oriented environment.

Work Schedule: Rotating – 12 Hours

Pay Range: 47.71 – 68.16 USD per hour

• Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NRP CPR cards
• Experience managing normal and high‑risk laboring patients

• Completion of NRP within 3 months
• Completion of S.T.A.B.L.E. course recommended within 6 months
• Minimum one year recent acute care RN experience in Labor & Delivery
• Minimum one year experience in Nursery with normal and high‑risk neonatal care
• SCN/NICU experience preferred
• Experience with postpartum and gynecologic patients preferred
• Experience with general med/surg patients preferred
• Operating room circulating nurse duties preferred
  
  Immediate post‑surgical recovery care preferred
