The QA/QC Specialist performs real‑time analysis and review of extensive documentation required by federal regulations for implementing a direct incentive payment program.

Job Duties
  • Manages intake of funding requests and performs a timely review of supporting documentation related to federal and state grant program claims
  • Uses standardized QA/QC checklists and tools for project files
  • Conducts routine and targeted file reviews to verify completeness, consistency, and compliance with program requirements
  • Documents QA/QC review results, including findings, observations and recommendations, and tracks them to resolution
  • Utilizes technology to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Assists in preparation of real‑time status reports regarding QA/QC reviews
  • Understands internal control framework to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse
  • Understands and assists in responding to state and federal oversight and monitoring activities
  • Other duties as required

Skills And Abilities

Education
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, preferred
Experience
  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in a professional office setting, required
