As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government aviation location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and public agency partners as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, parking areas, access points and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Monitor access and activity in assigned areas, help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited behavior, and direct individuals to appropriate checkpoints or services.

+ Complete timely written reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to supervisors and site contacts per post orders.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
