Security Officer Airport Unarmed Patrol Associate

As an Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities by driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to deter security‑related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall mission of the location.

Part Time, Swing shift

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93.

• Daytime:
  Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government‑operated transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas, assist with access control and visitor direction, and support orderly operations during routine activity and/or unusual events.
• Communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns, policy questions, and/or developing situations at the location.

• Valid Driver's License (at least 1 year of use)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and e
• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred
• First Aid certification is preferred
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
