In Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and facilities. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Full Time

$22.50 per hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93.

Tue 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Thu 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, communicating with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entrances, exits, checkpoints, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
• Provide directions and general assistance to the public, support crowd management during busy travel periods, and follow post orders related to alarms, evacuations, and other emergency procedures.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
