As a Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI
, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type:
Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Mon 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and e

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or screening support locations in accordance with post orders, helping to identify access issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with traffic flow, way finding, and general public assistance at the location while observing for security-related concerns and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or operational issues.

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
