As a Law Enforcement Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Lihue, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic airport location supporting government operations. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, act with integrity, and contribute through teamwork each day.

Position Type:
Full Time

Pay Rate: $28.86 /Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):

To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Law Enforcement Officer License
  • 22+ years of age

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment while carrying authorized equipment in accordance with post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, parking areas, roadways, restricted zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and credentialed areas, verify identification and permissions, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Document incidents, patrol activity, and observations in clear reports, and coordinate with onsite personnel and/or public agencies when assistance is needed.

Basic Qualifications: The basic qualifications listed below are representative of the relevant knowledge, skills, and/or experience required in order to be hired. These are requirements that we have determined are the minimum a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role.

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Requirement: Applicant must complete one of the following approved programs:

  • 1. Certified State law enforcement recruit training.
  • 2. Certified County law enforcement recruit training.
  • 3. Federal law enforcement training.
  • 4. Programs approved by the Director.
  • 5. Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications:
    • No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931

      F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).

* A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.

Knowledge and

Skills Required:

  • Must be able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.
