Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Requirements- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
- Must be able to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and e.
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or public agency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access credentials when appropriate, and follow post orders related to government location protocols and/or visitor management.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity through established channels.
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
