Lead Mechanic

Lead Technician | $45-50 DOE | Lihue, Hi

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Diesel / Gas Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related systems, ensuring high standards of quality and safety, from working on heavy trucks all the way to golf carts.

Full‑time, Monday – Friday, with occasional field work and travel between sites.

• $45-50 +/hr DOE

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair diesel/gas trucks, vans, and heavy duty equipment (including GSE)
• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
• Replace components across systems: drivetrain, electrical, A/C, fuel, emissions, brakes, hydraulics, etc.
• Maintain appearance and function (including painting, cleaning, and mobile repairs)
• Use and maintain your own tools, track parts inventory, and manage repair records
• Travel to other stations as needed

• High school diploma or GED with one to three years of related technical experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• ASE Certification(s) (preferred; but not required)
• 5+ years' experience as a mechanic
• AC certified with EPA certification
• Must pass background check
