Job Title: Electrician Helper
Responsibilities- Assists a licensed electrician in the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and equipment.
- Performs routine and repetitive tasks under supervision.
- Uses hand and power tools common to the electrical trade, reads and interprets sketches, simple plans, manuals, and other materials.
- Performs heavy lifting, moving, and other manual work typical of the class.
- Two years of work experience in residential and/or commercial structural wiring, and in the installation, alteration, and repair of electrical equipment, wires, and apparatus, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of basic principles and practices of the electrical trade, including safety procedures; and common tools, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, read and interpret sketches, simple plans, manuals, and other materials; understand oral and written instructions; and perform heavy lifting, moving, and other manual work typical of the class.
