Fuel Farm Technician

Signature Aviation is seeking a Fuel Farm Technician to safely operate and maintain aviation fuel storage and delivery systems at our busy FBO. You will perform fuel quality control, inspections, sampling, and testing to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include operating pumps, filters, and meters; monitoring tank levels; conducting routine preventative maintenance; responding to alarms or spills; and accurately completing logs and fuel records.

You will work closely with line service and operations teams, follow strict safety and environmental procedures, and support a 24/7 operation with rotating shifts and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor aviation fuel storage, pumping, and filtration systems
• Perform daily fuel quality control, including sampling, testing, and documentation
• Inspect tanks, filters, hoses, and equipment; report and address defects
• Maintain accurate fuel inventory, usage logs, and regulatory records
• Follow strict safety, environmental, and spill response procedures
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fuel farm equipment
• Support line service teams with fuel availability and system status updates
• Respond to alarms, leaks, or fuel spills and assist in containment and cleanup
• Comply with airport, FAA, and company fuel handling standards
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
