Airport Wheelchair Service / Baggage Agent

Open to applicants with no prior experience. Paid training will be provided.

Responsible for handling incoming and outgoing passengers’ baggage and providing wheelchair assistance, ensuring safe and efficient services.

• Assist passengers with a friendly smile through arrival and check‑in, including passengers needing wheelchair assistance.
• Operate a computerized system for wheelchair support, boarding, baggage service, reservations, and resolve related complaints.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine.
• Assist ramp service agents with wheelchair, stroller, and gate‑checked bag loading and delivery.
• Operate jetway, computer keyboards, and carrier‑specific reservation/ticketing software.
• Oversee customer service issues related to wheelchair‑bound customers.
• Lifts, loads, unloads, sorts passengers’ baggage.
• Receive, load, and unload baggage.
• Forward bags to TSA.
• Tend to the safety scanner and related equipment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
• Physical requirements:
  
  consistently lift and carry up to or more than 70 lbs.; push, pull, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime and in various weather conditions.
