Position Overview

Job Description

1st shift

Pay: $24.50/hour.

Sign-On Bonus: $6,000 (paid out in 6 months).

Schedule:
Weekdays (Monday through Friday) with occasional weekend shifts depending on how busy the company is.

Requirements:
You must have a valid CDL Class B and a current DOT medical card.

The Core Job:
Delivering food products to customers.

100% Touch Freight:
This means no passive driving. You will be personally responsible for handling, lifting, and unloading all the cargo off the truck at every stop.

Warehouse Duties:
When you aren  driving, you will work inside the warehouse doing physical labor and admin tasks (loading/unloading trucks, taking inventory, processing product returns, and handling delivery paperwork).

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product
• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day
• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
