Part-Time Elementary ESOL Teacher (.FTE

Arcado Elementary is seeking a part-time ESOL teacher (.49 FTE) to provide daily language support services to multilingual learners. This role requires a Georgia teaching certificate in the appropriate field and a bachelor’s degree from a PSC-approved institution. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned to the GCPS AKS curriculum.
• Provide daily ESOL services and support students’ language development across academic content.
• Develop clear lesson plans and use effective, research-based instructional strategies.
• Integrate technology to enhance instruction and assess student learning.
• Monitor progress using formative and summative assessments; maintain accurate records.
• Create a positive, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families to support student success.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents about progress and goals.
• Participate in professional learning and uphold professional responsibilities.

• Valid Georgia educator certification in the appropriate field.
• Bachelor’s degree from a PSC-approved college or university.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and instructional skills.
• Experience working with diverse learners (preferred).
