What you'll do
- Provide high-quality, person-centered services in accordance with each individual's needs and service plan.
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, safety, and community involvement.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required for the position.
- Follow Morning Star policies, procedures, training requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Communicate professionally with individuals, coworkers, supervisors, families/guardians, and other members of the individual's support team.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of the individuals we serve.
- Complete required training, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time and prepared to work the full scheduled shift.
- Perform additional responsibilities appropriate to the position as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must meet all education, experience, certification, background, and training requirements applicable to the position.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, professional, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality services.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use electronic systems and technology required for documentation, communication, scheduling, and training.
- Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment and ongoing employment requirements.
