Technology Project Manager (Remote• Volunteer)
We’re Building — And It Needs to Be Delivered. The Donovan’s Venom is growing in systems, platforms, and security, and all of it requires execution. We are seeking a Technology Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and drive the delivery of technology initiatives across the organization.
The RoleThis role serves as the central coordination point for all technology projects. You will manage timelines, align teams, track progress, and ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently. You are not just tracking tasks; you are driving execution across IT, security, and platform teams. This role operates at the intersection of planning, coordination, and delivery, ensuring projects move from concept to completion.
What You’ll Own Project Planning & Initiation- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans
- Timelines
- Milestones
- Resource needs
- Align projects with organizational priorities
- Coordinate across IT Operations, Applications & Platforms, and Information Security
- Ensure alignment between teams and stakeholders
- Serve as the central point of contact
- Track progress against timelines
- Identify risks, delays, and dependencies
- Proactively remove blockers
- Ensure on‑time delivery
- Coordinate task assignments across teams
- Balance workloads and priorities
- Support teams in meeting deliverables
- Provide updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Communicate project status, risks, outcomes
- Facilitate meetings (kickoffs, updates, retrospectives)
- Identify project risks early
- Develop mitigation strategies
- Track and resolve issues
- Escalate when needed
- Establish project management processes
- Documentation standards
- Reporting structures
- Workflow templates
- Ensure consistency across projects
- Support Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Coordinate sprints and timelines
- Improve workflow efficiency
- Maintain project plans, status reports, lessons learned
- Ensure documentation is accurate and accessible
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes
- Recommend tools and practices
- Enhance efficiency and scalability Who This Is For
- Thrives in fast‑paced, multi‑project environments
- Is highly organized and detail‑oriented
- Can manage competing priorities across teams
- Communicates clearly and consistently
- Takes ownership of execution and outcomes
- 3–5 years of experience in project management (preferably in technology environments)
- Experience managing cross‑functional projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Technology workflows
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications
- Experience in nonprofit or mission‑driven organizations
- Experience working in remote teams
- Familiarity with project management tools
- 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible schedule (with coordination across time zones)
- Participation in project meetings required
- Fully remote
