The Grader is a key position responsible for determining the quality of donated goods for sale in our stores and online. By thoroughly examining and grading donated items, you support job training opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment.
Responsibilities- Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
- Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
- Pivot to multiple work areas to support production.
- Identify and solve problems, or seek management support.
- Communicate with management and team members.
- Promote and demonstrate teamwork with peers.
- Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions consistently.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety and security practices, reporting hazards and injuries.
- Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
- Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift; 16-17-year-olds cannot operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.
