Wireless Retail Store Manager

Compensation: $15.00 - $28.00 an hour, including base pay, sales bonuses, and incentives

Team Nextar, an authorized retailer for Metro by T-Mobile with over 260 locations nationwide is looking for successful Retail Store Managers to join our management team! As a Metro by T-Mobile Wireless Store Manager for Team Nextar, you will be responsible for directly working with all team members to ensure they are well‑versed in our selling process,
Metro by T-Mobile products and services, and that our retail locations meet operational standards of excellence and profitability goals. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in retail and/or customer‑facing environments, preferably in the wireless industry, and be skilled at delivering an excellent customer experience that includes an effective sales process, product and service knowledge, and the ability to manage any type of customer concern with professionalism and a positive attitude.

• Build a positive, customer‑ and goal‑oriented environment.
• Interview, hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Metro by T-Mobile Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators for yourself and your team each month.
• Coach and mentor the team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure the assigned location operates under the specific guidelines of Metro by T-Mobile and Nextar Telecom.
• Execute promotional roll‑outs, inventory procedures, and other duties assigned by Nextar Telecom leadership in a timely and correct manner.
• Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with post‑ or prepaid wireless businesses, managing team members.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales and leadership roles.
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology, products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to various locations within your market as business needs dictate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
