As a Retail Marketing Specialist, you will create and share compelling stories with our customers, providing key insights into how shopper behaviors influence our categories. Serving as the category expert, you will deliver insight‑based, engaging presentations that highlight growth opportunities and build strong customer relationships based on thought leadership. In this role, you will scorecard and supervise the execution of the 5
Ps to ensure commercial success. By leveraging category analysis, shopper insights, and analytical tools, you will drive impactful solutions for Colgate and our retail partners.
- Strategy & Planning:
Develop and supervise retailer event strategies, alongside building 5P (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion & POP) strategies tailored by retail environment. - Go‑To‑Market Execution:
Lead the GTM process and develop clear execution guidelines for innovations and shopper‑focused activities. - Shopper Solutions:
Build tailored solutions based on solid retail, customer, and shopper knowledge, driving category marketing needs and priorities. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with Customer Development Team leaders to align objectives, drive strategy results, and coordinate shopper studies across different business types. - Performance Analysis:
Participate in commercial business planning, perform monthly reviews of retail environments versus plans—analyzing volume, sales, investment levels, Gross‑to‑Net (GTN), market share, distribution, and the 5
Ps—to adjust strategies based on findings. - Plan Approval & Evaluation:
Analyze and approve plans per retail environment to ensure alignment with estimated sales, market share, pricing, and margin objectives. Develop actionable recommendations from post‑evaluation data. - Market Intelligence:
Analyze internal and external market data to gather shopper insights, identify new opportunities, and build proactive action plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in sales or adjacent roles within Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in Field Sales.
- Proven budget‑management skills with a strong sense of financial accountability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, and Google Workspace tools.
- English proficiency:
Upper‑Intermediate (B2 level).
