Job Title
Electrical Construction Manager
Minimum QualificationsRequires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a five-year electrical apprentice program.
Preferred QualificationsThree to five years' experience in a project management position in construction industry. Bachelor's degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
Key Skills & CompetenciesValid driver's license required. Strong management skills. Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated financial analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office. Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with manager, employees, vendors, and others. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures. Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance. Opportunity for travel may be available.
Provides safety leadership. Contract administration. Project set-up. Site labor coordination and scheduling. Budgeting and estimating. Documentation/submittals/O & M's. Coordinate purchasing and sub-contracts. Production tracking. Quality control/quality assurance. Project cost control and billing. Project cost to complete/forecasting. Project change orders. Project closeout. Internal/external communication. Perform additional duties as assigned.
