This is a unique opportunity with the 4 major networks under one roof. We are a newly acquired Gray Media station located in Lima, Ohio.
Job Summary /DescriptionThis position, in addition to live weather casts, will require covering local news, including, but not limited to, city and county government, court cases, spot news, and any other news of the day, and possibly shooting some sports.
This position will require presenting live weather casts at 6 pm & 11 pm on Saturdays & Sundays. As an MMJ, you will shoot your own video, write stories, and edit as a one-man/woman band. Also, posting to our website and other social media platforms. If you have an eye for seeing and shooting great video and have a knack for finding stories, you'll love this job.

Qualifications/Requirements- A 4-year Meteorology-based degree preferred.
- Communications/Journalism minor welcomed.
- Taped reel of your on-air weather casts required.
The job is full-time. If you know The Weather Company (formerly WSI), Adobe Premiere, ENPS, and Canon XA50 cameras, you have a step up.
