Summary:

The service dispatcher coordinates vehicle repair services by dispatching repair work to the appropriate service technician, managing customer communication, and ensuring efficient workflow within the service shop.

Reports To:

Assistant Service Manager / Service Manager

• Assign technician to repair order
• Track status and progress of vehicle repairs
• Utilize CDK for repair order and customer tracking
• Answer customer service call, provide status updates and resolve issues or concerns to maintain customer satisfaction
• Coordinate parts orders with the parts department and ensure timely delivery to service department vehicles
• Maintain organized customer records, update dispatch software and process orders accurately
• Provide support to service and parts managers
