Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team. This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Lima, OH area (2-hour radius). It is a fall start with an August start date.

• Hourly rate $27.00 per hour for clinic hours worked and drive time.
• No weekend hours.

• Company vehicle provided, with gas and maintenance card.
• Active Ohio X-ray License required.

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, including the company van.
• Assist dentist with portable operatory setup inside schools and chairside procedures as needed.
• Load/unload and set up the dental operatory inside the school.
• Perform various administrative duties.

• Current Ohio X-ray License required.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.
