Locum Radiation Oncologist Ohio
Seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for locum coverage due to physician retirement.
Assignment DetailsCoverage Dates: June 1, 2026 December 31, 2026
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Call: Not required (covered by permanent providers)
Setting: Outpatient & Free-Standing Cancer Centers
Patient Population: Adult (clinic and limited inpatient)
Average Volume:
20 outpatient visits per day
1 inpatient per day
Support: 1 Radiation Oncologist and 1 APP on staff
EMR: Mosaiq & Epic
Hospital Trauma Designation: Level II
Conventional & 3D Radiotherapy
IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT
External Beam Radiation Therapy
Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
Develop and manage radiation treatment plans
Prescribe and oversee therapy
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
Ohio license (or willingness to obtain)
BLS certification
Self-Query NPDB (dated within 30 days at presentation)
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately days
Travel expenses (flight, hotel, rental car) reimbursed per facility guidelines.
This is a well-supported outpatient oncology opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and no call responsibilities.
