Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Radiation Oncology – Lima, OH
Are you an experienced Radiation Oncologist looking for a rewarding temporary opportunity to make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician to provide exceptional care at Bon Secours St. Ritas Cancer Center. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic outpatient and free-standing cancer center environment, contributing to patient well-being while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license with radiation oncology certification
- Proven expertise in conventional radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and SBRT
- Proficiency with Mosaiq and Epic EMR systems
- Strong diagnostic and ordering capabilities for tests and imaging
- Excellent communication and clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills:
- Experience working in hospital-based and outpatient settings
- Familiarity with trauma-level hospital environments
- Prior experience in a locum or temporary staffing role
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology
- Minimum of 3 years practicing in a clinical setting
- Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous
- Active Ohio medical license or eligibility
- Ability to start on or before February 23, 2026
- Commitment for coverage from approximately June 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026
- Willingness to travel to coverage locations as needed; facility will reimburse flight, hotel, and rental car expenses
- Credentialing timeframe of 90-120 days
Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50
