8th Grade Science Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 5th‑8th Grade Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. This role involves delivering standards‑based instruction, fostering critical thinking, and helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents/guardians.
• Implement classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to enhance student learning.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification/license for elementary education.
• Experience teaching at the elementary level (preferred).
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction.

• Passion for teaching and working with children.
• Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to foster a growth mindset in students.

• Classroom setting within an elementary school.

Full‑time

• At least 1 year(s) of relevant teaching experience preferred.
