The Elementary School Counselor supports the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of students in grades K–6, helping them build strong foundations for success in school and life.

• Provide individual and small‑group counseling to support student needs
• Deliver classroom guidance lessons aligned to social‑emotional learning standards
• Support students with behavior, attendance, and personal challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support the whole child
• Coordinate with outside agencies when needed
• Serve as a member of building support teams and crisis response efforts

• Valid Ohio School Counselor License
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Commitment to supporting all students with high expectations and care
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
