Perry Local Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Elementary School Counselor to join our team. We are a small school with a big heart. We are a place where every child is known, supported, and challenged to grow.

Position Overview:
The Elementary School Counselor supports the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of students in grades K-6. This role is essential in helping students build strong foundations for success in school and life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individual and small group counseling to support student needs
* Deliver classroom guidance lessons aligned to social-emotional learning standards
* Support students with behavior, attendance, and personal challenges
* Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support the whole child
* Coordinate with outside agencies when needed
* Serve as a member of building support teams and crisis response efforts
Qualifications:
* Valid Ohio School Counselor License
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Commitment to supporting all students with high expectations and care
* Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
