Temple Christian School – Lima, Ohio (PreK-12 Community Christian School). Enrollment ~350 students. Mission: glorify God by providing a Christ‑centered education rooted in Biblical truth, with strong academic, athletic, and fine‑arts programs.

TCS is seeking one kindergarten teacher and one 1st grade teacher for the 2026‑27 school year. Candidates should be committed followers of Christ, passionate about helping children grow academically and spiritually, and able to create a dynamic, interactive learning environment that supports 21st‑century learning.

• Create daily lesson plans and teach core content subjects from a Biblical worldview.
• Develop and implement effective classroom policies and procedures.
• Meet the educational needs of all students.
• Assess student achievement, record grades, and maintain student records.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers.
• Supervise lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal.

• Spiritually mature Christian capable of inspiring students to grow closer to God.
• Alignment with TCS mission and core values.
• Certified teacher by the state of Ohio.
• Strong pedagogical and classroom‑management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to relate well with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching kids and helping them reach their academic, spiritual, social, and physical potential.
• Highly organized and proactive in meeting curricular goals, standards, and benchmarks.
• Effective planning, input seeking, and communication to avoid major problems.
• Willingness to adapt lessons, curriculum, and assignments to accommodate different learning needs.
• Ability to learn and integrate latest technology to advance learning.
• Team‑player willing to support and promote other programs, classes, teachers, and students.
• Self‑starter demonstrating a positive attitude and resilience.
• Proven rapport with students, parents, and peers.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
