Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current school psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience with student testing and evaluation procedures
  • Familiarity with special education laws and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Skilled in consultation, collaboration, and effective communication with students, families, and staff
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments and communicate findings
  • Provide direct interventions and counseling to students individually or in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student achievement
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Offer guidance on behavioral and academic interventions, crisis response, and prevention programs
  • Stay current with best practices, legal requirements, and professional standards in school psychology
