Mechanical Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards by coordinating mechanical engineering, construction activities, subcontractors, and client communication. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and construction expertise, proven project management experience, and familiarity with HVAC systems, piping, and project controls tools such as Procore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through turnover, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets; monitor progress and implement corrective actions to control project performance.
  • Coordinate mechanical design reviews, submittals, shop drawings, and approvals with engineering, procurement, and field teams.
  • Facilitate communication with clients, stakeholders, architects, engineers, and internal teams; provide regular project updates and reports.
  • Implement and maintain project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and closeout documentation using project management systems (e.g., Procore).
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction or industrial projects.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems, piping, fabrication, and installation practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, OSHA) and experience with commissioning and startup activities are a plus.
