The Opportunity We are seeking a Civil Engineer to support PM Abrams facility and infrastructure efforts at the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center (JSMC) in Lima, OH. This role focuses on technical evaluation, tracking, and execution oversight of Company Work Orders (CWOs) across industrial plant equipment, infrastructure, and real property projects.
- Technical Evaluation:
Perform detailed reviews of CWOs related to Industrial Plant Equipment, Other Plant Equipment, Infrastructure, and Real Property projects. - CWO Management:
Maintain awareness of scope, monitor execution, and track day-to-day status of all assigned CWOs. - Project Oversight:
Monitor project development and execution to ensure alignment with program requirements and timelines. - On-Site Walkthroughs:
Conduct plant walkthroughs to assess and document progress of ongoing work. - Reporting:
Provide regular updates on CWO status and progress to the PM Abrams JSMC Liaison. - Problem Identification:
Identify and analyze facility and infrastructure issues; recommend solutions to the JSMC Facility Contract COR. - Stakeholder Coordination:
Communicate and manage expectations with GDLS in coordination with the Government COR. - Metrics Tracking:
Assist in collecting, tracking, and reporting CWO progress metrics. - Collaboration:
Attend meetings and coordinate with stakeholders via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.
Qualifications Secret Clearance is required. Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university, or a professional engineering bachelor's degree with 2 years of specialized experience. Minimum 9 years specialized experience in working as an engineer for a military program or on a military installation.
