School Treasurer

The Allen County Educational Service Center (ESC) is seeking a qualified Treasurer to oversee all financial duties of the ESC. The role requires a Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting and an Ohio School Treasurer License.

Oversee all financial duties of the ESC, communicate relevant financial information to the Board, Superintendent, and other District Administrators, process bi‑weekly payroll and maintain payroll records, manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, budgeting, and federal grants, and ensure timely reporting using technology.

• Valid Ohio School Treasurer License or ability to obtain one.
• Self‑starting skills with a positive team attitude.
• Business management skills in long‑range planning, fiscal forecasting, investing, personnel management, and insurance management.
• Excellent analytical, listening, verbal, and writing skills.
• Strong multi‑tasking skills and ability to organize and synthesize information efficiently.
• Effective use of technology to ensure timely reports and communications with the public.
• High level confidentiality handling.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, budgeting, and federal grants.

• All interested parties should submit a letter of interest, updated resume, copy of current Ohio School Treasurer license, credentials, transcripts, three current letters of professional reference, a sample communication to staff, community, or Board, and a completed application found on the Allen County ESC website.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
